A Paper Holiday

A Paper Holiday

Most of my time has been spent on prototyping for this grad project, so my crafty holiday spirit is minimal. I usually don’t think about the holidays until after December 15th since that is usually when the semester ends. Despite my usual trend, I have had glowing lights and gingerbread on the mind after creating a custom holiday card for a client.

I was invited to participate in Christianne’s Lyceum of Literature and Art silent auction fundraiser by donating my time to create customized holiday cards. I don’t have a lot of money, but I do have these hands that like to make things. And because I sometimes think the Lyceum owns my soul (in the loving way), I couldn’t say no.

I was pretty thrilled to find out I would be designing a card featuring the family dog. I got to meet Buddy in person and hope I did him justice.
